A New Partnership Driving Us Towards a Greener Future!
We are delighted to announce our new sustainability partnership with BYD Kingscourt at Gilmore’s Kingscourt.
Last week, Ben Gilmore officially handed over the keys to a brand-new, fully electric BYD Seal to Howard Corscadden at Cabra Castle. This marks an exciting new milestone in our ongoing commitment to reducing our carbon footprint across the estate.
The new EV will be used to transport our guests and wedding couples around the castle grounds, ensuring we continue to provide exceptional, premium service for which we are renowned, while making more sustainable choices. This partnership is just one part of our broader environmental mission.
At Cabra Castle, we are continuously investing in eco-friendly initiatives, including:
Renewable Energy: Our 580 solar panels actively generate clean, green energy directly on the estate.
Sustainable Travel: We actively promote sustainable travel among our team through our Bike to Work scheme.
Guest & Staff EV Charging: We have installed 8 EV charge points on site, making it easier than ever for both visitors and staff to drive electric.
We are incredibly proud to collaborate with a local business like BYD Kingscourt at Gilmore's Kingscourt, that share our vision for a cleaner, greener future.
