How to get there: Directions from Dublin: This journey will take approximately one hour. Take the M1 to Ardee. Then from Ardee take the N2 to Carrickmacross. From Carrickmacross take the R179 towards Kingscourt. The avenue of the Hotel is located 7 miles from Carrickmacross on the left hand side.
Directions from Belfast: Leaving Belfast take the A1 passing through Newry and on to Dundalk. In Dundalk you take the R179 which brings you to Carrickmacross. In Carrickmacross, take the Kingscourt road (this road has quite a lot of bends on it so caution is advised). The hotel is approximately 7 miles out this road (just before Kingscourt town).
The junction for the avenue to the hotel is situated on the left hand side of the road - on a dangerous bend, so caution is advised - there are markings for "concealed entrance" and "slow" approaching the entrance.
